El presidente electo, Jos\u00e9 Ra\u00fal Mulino, nomin\u00f3 a Salom\u00f3n Shamah como director general de Promtur Panam\u00e1, organismo cuya funci\u00f3n es la promoci\u00f3n internacional de Panam\u00e1 como destino para todos los segmentos y productos de turismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shamah es abogado de profesi\u00f3n, productor musical y asesor internacional de campa\u00f1as pol\u00edticas y gobierno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fue ministro de Turismo durante el periodo 2009-2014. En su gesti\u00f3n, cre\u00f3 el seguro para el turista y el Centro de Convenciones, que generaron m\u00e1s de $3 millones de noches de hotel, superando los $2 millones trescientos mil visitantes. Junto al sector privado, impuls\u00f3 la Ley 80 de incentivos al turismo, a\u00fan vigente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ha asesorado campa\u00f1as presidenciales, de gobernador y alcalde en pa\u00edses como Panam\u00e1, Costa Rica, Argentina, Brasil, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y M\u00e9xico. Es defensor de los derechos de autor y propiedad intelectual y fue calificador de pruebas para la fiscal\u00eda de propiedad intelectual de Panam\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
